WHO WE ARE
With backgrounds in event production, fundraising, media and entertainment, Laurie Krotman and Susan Shattuck, founders and owners of Special Events Unlimited, Inc. have been producing events, consulting and offering seminars for non-profits, businesses and individuals for over 25 years. They specialize in raising funds through event campaigns that focus on donor identification, cultivation and expansion.  With a professional, highly skilled and loyal staff, a keen attention to details, a creative perspective and a great sense of humor, they provide personalized service and hands-on assistance every step of the way. Both Laurie and Susan have taught workshops in special events fundraising at colleges and corporate venues in addition to publishing articles and writing columns on special events in newspapers and magazines.  They are on the faculty of New York University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies, teaching fundraising through special events.
